The Grip-All, model F73600-0000, is designed to enable individuals with upper extremity disabilities or spinal cord injury to hold items, such as eating and writing utensils or toothbrushes, independently. A utensil or grooming aid is placed in the gripping coil at the end of this device, creating a built-up handle. This durable dishwasher-safe plastic tube comprises two pieces connected by a toothed rim which controls the gripping action as one half is turned and the other held. A split plastic tube is also provided to increase the size of handles smaller than half of an inch. Two independently adjustable hand clasps enclose the hand so that graping the tube is not necessary. DIMENSIONS: 7.5 inches long and 1.25 inches in diameter. The device accepts utensils with handles from 0.5 to one inch in diameter. COLOR: Thhe plastic tube is white and the handle is dark brown.
