BRIEF: Marywood to dedicate veterans center

Sept. 01--SCRANTON -- Marywood University will hold a dedication ceremony for the new Veterans Resource Center on campus.
The free event is scheduled for Monday, Sept. 15, at noon at 2236 N. Washington Ave.The Marywood Veterans Alliance will lead tours of the center following the ceremony.
The Veterans Resource Center will house the office of military and veteran services and the R-VETS office on the first floor, along with a quiet study space and lounge.
The second floor will hold the Student Veterans Alliance lounge and a computer/study space. The space has a full kitchen for student veterans and their dependents.
